A 2WD 4L60e and a th400 are very close in mount locations if I remember correctly I'm going from a TH400 trans, to a 5.3/4l60e setup, so I'm needing a new yoke to match the 4l60e trans

What all is required besides replacing the transfer case 27 spline input shaft with the 32 spline, pull vacuum from the intake to the vacuum solenoid on the 400 and the adapter plate for between the Tcase. Of course, the 4L80E has overdrive which can be a huge advantage over a three-speed transmission if it's needed As with all interchange stories, a successful swap is dictated by handling all the fine points.
